These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at www.dataretrieval.com and of the recruiting communication channels operated under the "Data Retrieval" brand, including our Facebook Page "Data Retrieval Careers" and the automated messaging assistant available through Facebook Messenger (together, the "Services").
The Services are operated by KeyOff Bedford LLC, 7636 Lindsay Ln, Solon, OH 44139, United States ("we", "us", "our"). "Data Retrieval" is a brand name used by KeyOff Bedford LLC.
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. What the Services are
The Services provide information about our company and about open positions, and allow candidates to begin a preliminary recruiting conversation with us.
The Services are informational and recruiting-related only. They are not a job offer, an employment contract, or a guarantee of employment, an interview, or any further contact.
2. Automated assistant
Initial recruiting conversations on Facebook Messenger are handled by an automated assistant powered by artificial intelligence. The assistant identifies itself as such at the start of each conversation.
The assistant asks a short set of screening questions so that a human recruiter can prepare before speaking with you. A human recruiter may take over the conversation at any point, and all conversations may be reviewed by our recruiting staff.
Responses generated by the automated assistant may contain errors or omissions. Nothing stated by the assistant is binding on us. Terms of employment, compensation, and any commitments are established only in writing by an authorized representative of the company.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services. The Services are intended for people seeking employment and are not directed at children.
4. Your responsibilities
When using the Services, you agree to:
- provide accurate and truthful information about yourself, including your identity, experience, location, and contact details;
- use the Services only for genuine recruiting purposes;
- not send unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, or misleading content;
- not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or to any system connected to them;
- not use automated tools to interact with the Services on your behalf;
- not submit information about other people without their permission.
We may end a conversation, decline to continue a recruiting process, or block access to the Services at our discretion, including where these Terms are not respected.
5. Information you provide
Information you share during a recruiting conversation — including your name, contact details, work experience, and any documents you send us — is used to assess your candidacy for open positions and to contact you about them.
Details of what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can request deletion are set out in our Privacy Policy at https://www.dataretrieval.com/privacy-policy/ and our Data Deletion Instructions at https://www.dataretrieval.com/data-deletion/. Those documents form part of these Terms.
You may ask us to delete your data at any time, including by writing "delete my data" in the chat. Such requests are passed to a human recruiter and handled as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.
Do not send us sensitive personal information — such as government identification numbers, financial account details, health information, or passwords — through Messenger. We do not request such information at the screening stage.
6. Third-party platforms
Conversations take place on platforms operated by third parties, including Facebook Messenger (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and WhatsApp. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or behavior of third-party platforms, or for message delivery failures on them.
Links from our website to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
7. Intellectual property
The content of the website and of the Services — including text, graphics, logos — belongs to KeyOff Bedford LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may view and use this content for the purpose of learning about our company and open positions. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it for any other purpose without our written permission.
8. Availability
We provide the Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of errors, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of them at any time without notice.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KeyOff Bedford LLC and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of employment opportunity, profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
